About Me

 

 

I am a Sand Cloud Brand Ambassador. I LOVE all things that allow me to creatively express myself, however I am particularly passionate about the Fashion and Apparel Industry. Sand Cloud's mission is to save Marine Life, and 10% of the profits are donated to non-profit organizations that align with this cause. I enjoy being a Brand Ambassador because it allows me to 'heal the world'... through Fashion.

 

I am a Alteration & Tailor Shop Administrator at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead Atlanta. I am also a Freelance Virtual Stylist for TailorTailor is a Google "internal incubator",  and an app where users can get styling advice, fashion tips or personal shopping services.  I likewise have a short-term contract with Retail Merchandising Services [RMS] as a Field Merchandising Representative that will last until January 2018. I work with L'Oreál as a Field Vendor, performing audits at my assigned Target & Walmart stores. Additionally, I also install brand marketing material associated with promotions and new product launches. L'Oreál owns the Essie, Garnier & Maybelline brands as well. Most recently, I became a Uniform Fit Specialist for the 2018 Delta Airlines Style Consultant project. I was contracted as a fashion expert to assist Delta's employees with fitting for new uniforms. Additionally, I provide style advice about how to best wear the garment.

 

I am also a Visual Merchandiser at Market Connect Group [MCG].  In my Visual Merchandiser role, I am providing both visual and merchandising support to retailers such as : Jos. A. Bank, Men's Wearhouse, and Kohl's to name a few. In addition, I also worked with brands such as Croc's, & Dickie's as a vendor; providing audits, negotiating floor space  and inventory reporting. In this position I also received additional merchandising training to become a certified Levi Strauss & Co. field agent/vendor. I have previously held positions at thredUP.com as eCommerce Merchandise Coordinator and as a contract Visual Merchandise Coordinator with Franklin Retail Services [FRS]. At FRS, I worked in the field and visited assigned retail partners, within the North Atlanta territory, to execute visuals, merchandising and marketing initiatives for the NIKE/Jordan brand.

I have a Master of Business Administration with a specialization Marketing from American InterContinental University [AIU] Online. As a supplement to this degree, I received a professional certificate, for "Protecting Human Research Participants"in marketing related studies, from the National Institute of Health-Office of Extramural Research. I likewise have a dual Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Marketing & Design with a specialization in Design from AIU-Atlanta. I have more recently entered a professional certificate program from Parson's: The New School of Design & Teen Vogue for "Fashion Industry Essentials". I will complete this program January 2018.

I was a Collegiate Member of the American Marketing Association during my graduate studies. I also interned at Pink City Ent.'s -T.O.Y.L.[Time of Your Life] Events for the Annual Project Curve Appeal Expo at the Georgia International Convention Center during my undergraduate matriculation. I was later promoted to the Backstage Manager of the Accessories In the City segment of the event, where I worked with models and designers alike. I was an Alumni Designer for the national event, Fashion Night Out, with Perimeter Mall & AIU Atlanta. I am currently a volunteer for Atlanta International Fashion Week's Fashion Team, a Volunteer Wardrobe Consultant for Dress for Success-Atlanta and a Volunteer Personal Stylist @ House of Cherith at City of Refuge for Free Fab’rik.
